Narrowing it Down

Hmm.. thinking about focusing on the students. If I take portraits of students in their workplace versus portraits of students who do not work, what will I find? .. differences in race, hometown, health, mind-sets, etc?

Also thinking about documenting a working student with additional responsibilities and worries than those of a typical student, photographing their daily to weekly activities to show what they go through. Maybe this will reveal and make people aware of struggles and hard work they did not know a student they see walking around campus or a student in their class actually go through to receive an education. They might appear like any other regular student but that is not always the case.

Documenting a student's daily/weekly life shows all the responsibilities and things they have to do in order to maintain their education and a livable lifestyle that other may not know about, but it might also capture the rare moments the student has to themself, when they have time to relax and/or just lay in bed before falling asleep. What will they think or do in the time they do not have to be in class, at their internship or job? What do they think of and what expression do they have on their faces when they are in bed trying to fall asleep? What will a portrait in this state reveal about the individual?
